Three years and �70 million were spent painstakingly refurbishing the Great Eastern Hotel,
a landmark building from the golden age of steam railways. Many of the original architectural
features have been restored, whilst introducing a bold, contemporary aesthetic. Located in

Whilst the modern upper floors have a contemporary
loft-style feel (light colour schemes, porthole windows etc) the lower
floors retain certain elements of their Victorian heritage (high ceilings,
wide open windows and dark panelling).
